🔒 HyperSpace Starcade – Policies & Terms of Service

By booking an event or activity with HyperSpace Starcade, you agree to the following terms. These policies are designed to ensure a safe, fun, and fair experience for all guests.


✅ General Terms & Conditions

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • All bookings are final. Refunds are not guaranteed and may be subject to individual service terms.

  • Reschedules are allowed with advance notice and are based on availability.

  • Guests must follow staff instructions at all times and treat all equipment with respect.

  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult during all activities.

  • HyperSpace Starcade, LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

  • Any damage caused by guest negligence may result in repair or replacement charges.


💳 Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • A $25 cancellation fee may apply to mobile or arcade bookings once payment is received.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 14 days of the event.

  • We will gladly help you reschedule your event to another available date when possible.

  • Tournament registrations are non-refundable and may be rescheduled or reformatted in case of low turnout.


🕹️ Activity-Specific Policies

Arcade Parties (On-Site)

  • Your party room is reserved for 2 hours. You may arrive up to 20 minutes early to set up.

  • Game cards are activated at the start of your event. Lost cards cannot be replaced.

  • No confetti, glitter, or damaging decorations are allowed. Excessive mess may result in a cleaning fee.

Game Truck (Mobile)

  • Requires a level, 60-foot space for parking. Once positioned, it cannot be moved.

  • No food or drink allowed in the truck.

  • We are not responsible for damage to lawns, driveways, underground utilities, or property where the truck is requested to park.

Laser Tag (Mobile or Combo)

  • Requires a safe, open area indoors or outdoors. We provide bunkers and gear.

  • No running, physical contact, or tampering with equipment.

  • Children under 6 may not participate. All children must be supervised.

GellyBall (Mobile)

  • Includes blasters, eye protection, biodegradable ammo, and bunkers.

  • Eye protection must be worn at all times.

  • Can be rescheduled in case of severe weather or unsafe ground conditions.

Virtual Reality

  • VR is immersive and may not be suitable for guests with motion sickness, epilepsy, or certain health conditions.

  • Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult.

  • All VR use is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.

Tournaments

  • Formats and game rules vary per event and are announced during registration.

  • Players must arrive on time or risk disqualification.

  • Players may bring approved controllers (no modded or turbo-enabled devices).

  • A portion of the entry fee goes to staffing and venue costs. The rest forms the prize pool.


☔ Weather Policy

  • The Game Truck is climate-controlled and can operate in most weather.

  • Laser Tag and GellyBall may be rescheduled in cases of heavy rain, lightning, high winds, or unsafe outdoor conditions.

  • If weather impacts only part of a multi-activity event, remaining services may still proceed.


🧒 Supervision

  • Children must be supervised by an adult throughout all activities.

  • Our staff will lead games and monitor equipment but are not a substitute for parental supervision.


🧼 Health & COVID-19 Policy

  • Please do not attend or send guests who are sick or recently exposed to illness.

  • HyperSpace Starcade follows current state and local guidance but leaves masking and distancing policies to the party host.

  • By attending, you acknowledge the inherent risk of exposure to illness in public or group settings. HyperSpace Starcade is not liable for illness or health-related incidents.


📸 Photos & Video

  • We may take photos or videos during events for marketing or social media.

  • If you do not want to be photographed, please notify staff in advance or during booking.


🎮 Game Content

  • We will not play “M” (Mature-rated) video games without prior approval from the host or parent.

  • You may request specific games in advance, or let our Game Coach know at the event.


🛠️ Property & Damage

  • HyperSpace Starcade is not responsible for damage caused by parking, equipment placement, or weather-related ground conditions.

  • Any intentional damage to vehicles, trailers, VR systems, tag gear, or arcade machines may result in repair or replacement charges to the booking party.
