This game truck is great! We've booked it for two birthday parties now & it's been a hit both times. The kids love it. There are so many games to choose from; they can game on the inside and the outside. I would highly recommend this!

Big fan of Hyperspace!! We have used the video game trailer for both large events as well as birthday parties and Chuck always comes through with a great time! Not a doubt we will book them again for our next event.

There was no air conditioning. We walked in, there were no employees. We tried to get cards and the machine was not working. Pretty disappointing. Definitely would not recommend.

**Updating after response from owner.

a family of 4 went into HyperSpace Starcade, excited to play some games. There was NOT any staff members that we had any interaction with or saw the whole time we were there. If the AC was on, it must have been on high because it was cooler outside than inside the building. The kiosk, was NOT working. We tried to push the buttons, the machine itself was warm to the touch due to no AC on in the building.

We ended up going to the mall and having a GREAT experience with the same type of kiosk.

We had a disappointing experience at an automated claw machine arcade recently, and heard great things about HyperSpace Starcade-- and boy, did it more than live up to the recommendations!

The owner, Chuck, is absolutely lovely, and went above and beyond to make sure that my girls (4 and 8) went home with some prizes. He was wonderful with my girls (including one who is neurodivergent), and shared with us which claws might need a double-tap (spoiler-- most don't, which is super kid-friendly!).

Prices were more than reasonable, and there was a great selection to choose from! I greatly appreciated that there was someone on-site to help when we accidentally reloaded one play card twice (instead of on each card-- whoops!), and ended up spending more than an hour there having a great time.

We left with my girls asking when we could go back and play again, which is high praise-- we will be looking into maybe doing a birthday party there as well, especially given the excellent experience we had. What a hidden gem here in Rochester!

I’ve been here twice and have never left empty handed. Fun for kids and fun for adults! My two boys are 8 and 5 and both of them won several prizes each! Shawn, the employee working this afternoon, was so kind and accommodating to my boys and really made our experience stellar. I couldn’t have cared less if I won anything but Shawn was so awesome making sure my kids had the absolute best time. Well worth it to see the huge smiles on my kids faces. Highly recommend.

Don't waste your money and time at this hyperSCAMcade!! The machines are rigged to drop the items after being clawed! Just go buy your kid a toy at Walmart instead... On two different machines my daughter fully clawed items that were subsquently dropped by the claws when the claw fully opened up once it retracted back to the top. We explained this to the kid working and got a free retry. The worker watched over my daughter's shoulder and it happened again. Instead of just offering to open the machine and just give us one of the $0.25 rubber ducks she was owed from winning multiple times by spending $2 in credits per game, the only thing he could do is just restart the machine and have her try again, which of course was pointless since the claw was locked in scam-mode... My daughter was disheartened and frustrated leaving empty handed instead of having what she should have won and I left annoyed and angered for wasting our time and getting swindled for $20. We went to Walmart and got 2 larger rubber ducks for the price of two games at this "scamcade". I jokingly had my daughter move my "claw machine" arm to pick the bigger ducks up out of the Walmart bin and it was honestly more fun than the scamcade and gave us both a good laugh.

Wow. Do not waste your time or money here. We picked up prizes 3/4 of the time and IF the claw actually kept the item in it, the strong abrupt shake at the top knocks it out. Not being a sore loser, just hoping to help people avoid this scam of a business.
