FAQ QUESTION: How do I look into booking a Laser Tag party?

FAQ ANSWER: Go to our  “Check Dates/Book Now” page and send in your date and time and we’ll respond letting you know if it is available.  Just confirm and that’s it!

FAQ QUESTION: Will the kids know what to do?

FAQ ANSWER: That’s why we bring TWO HyperSpace Starcade Game Coaches!  The Game Coaches will give instructions prior to the start of the first game and will fully instructs guests in game play and safety.

FAQ QUESTION: Should I be concerned about safety during Laser Tag?

FAQ ANSWER: HyperSpace Starcade Laser Tag is fun and safe!  No pain or mess like paintball!  There is no actual “Laser,” but just a beam of infrared light.  It’s the same technology that your TV remotes use.  We will give safety instructions to guests prior to game play and do a quick scan of the game play area to reduce hazards.  Due to the nature of the game (running, hiding, etc.) all guests must sign a “hold harmless” waiver prior to participating in any Laser Tag game.  We want all your guests to be safe!  Download waiver here.

QUESTION: What about bad weather?

ANSWER: In the event of heavy rain or hazardous weather, we will make every effort to reschedule your party.  Or you can choose to move the party indoors if your venue can support game play.

FAQ QUESTION: Should I schedule Laser Tag at the beginning or towards the end of the party?

FAQ ANSWER: We suggest that you plan for Laser Tag first and eat later. This way, guests aren’t running around immediately after eating and they can work up an appetite while playing!

QUESTION: What if I have more than 20 guests at the party? Is there an extra charge?

ANSWER: Certainly not!  Bring them on!  We provide laser taggers for up to 20 guests, but we can always rotate guests through games to be sure everybody gets plenty of play time to play.  For large group rotations most rounds last about 5 mins with a couple minutes before and after each round.

FAQ QUESTION: Do I have to pay for the party in advance?

FAQ ANSWER: Payment is required in advance. Our reservations go quickly.  In order to reserve your date you must pay online after your booking request has been reviewed and accepted.  For non-profit events who must pay in a different manner (purchase order, etc.) please contact us.

FAQ: Do I Leave a Tip?

FAQ ANSWER: Tipping coaches gratuity is is suggested at 10 – 15% and is optional. Our Game Coaches are there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun.  We tutor, inspire and entertain.  Please consider us as you would other forms of entertainment and service where tipping for good service is suggested as a great idea, but not required.

QUESTION: What time will you be arriving?

ANSWER: The Game Coaches will 20 – 30 minutes ahead of your party time to set up the field and allow your party to start at the designated start time.

BEST FUND RAISING EVENT IDEA!

How to raise $2,455 in 4 hours for your nonprofit organization fundraiser

If you decide to book a 4 hour concurrent combo it is both laser tag and our video game trailer attractions running at the same time. We normally charge $876 ($777 for 3hrs and $99 for an additional hour). However, nonprofit organizations receive 15% off making the total price =$745.

We can easily handle throughput groups of approx 20 players at once every 15 mins at the game trailer and another 20 playing laser tag. Let’s say for example that your fundraiser will have that type of throughput.  That is 40 players x 4 groups per hr x 4hrs = 640 players. 640 players x $5 admission tickets = $3,200 revenue. $3,200 revenue – $745 price = $2,455 raised for your fundraiser event!

If you need to increase the throughput to raise even more funds per hour then consider asking us about also adding our VR Party as a third attraction. Virtual Reality gaming experiences in venues like shopping malls easily charge $30 for just 10 mins of play.

QUESTION: Where can I view your official Laser Tag Party policies?

ANSWER: You can view them here.
