How do I look into booking a Laser Tag party?
Go to our Check Dates/Book Now page and submit a booking request.
Your date is not confirmed until a final invoice is sent and paid within 2 hours.
Do you travel year-round?
Yes — but during winter months (December–March), mobile Laser Tag is typically limited to locations within 30 miles of Rochester, MN. Full travel service resumes April 1.
Will the kids know what to do?
That’s why we bring a Game Coach! Game Coaches will give instructions prior to the start of the first game and will fully instructs guests in game play and safety.
What’s the difference between Standard and Premium Laser Tag?
Standard Laser Tag

Premium Laser Tag (+$100)
- Headband gear, upgraded blasters

Should I be concerned about safety during Laser Tag?
HyperSpace Starcade Laser Tag is fun and safe! No pain or mess like paintball! There is no actual “Laser,” but just a beam of infrared light. It’s the same technology that your TV remotes use. We will give safety instructions to guests prior to game play and do a quick scan of the game play area to reduce hazards. Due to the nature of the game (running, hiding, etc.) all guests can sign a “hold harmless” waiver prior to participating in any Laser Tag game. We want all your guests to be safe! What about bad weather?
In the event of heavy rain or hazardous weather, we will make every effort to reschedule your party. Or you can choose to move the party indoors if your venue can support game play.
Should I schedule Laser Tag at the beginning or towards the end of the party?
We suggest that you plan for Laser Tag first and eat later. This way, guests aren’t running around immediately after eating and they can work up an appetite while playing!
What if I have more than 20 guests at the party? Is there an extra charge?
No problem. We provide equipment for up to 20 players per match, and larger groups rotate through quick rounds so everyone gets plenty of play time.
Most rounds run about 5–10 minutes, depending on event size.
Do I have to pay for the party in advance?
Payment is required in advance. Our reservations go quickly. In order to reserve your date you must pay online after your booking request has been reviewed and accepted. For non-profit events who must pay in a different manner (purchase order, etc.) please contact us.
Do I Leave a Tip?
Tips are accepted via SQUARE, VENMO (@HyperSpaceStarcade), PAYPAL (info@hyperspacestarcade.com) or cash on-site. It is our pleasure to have the opportunity to serve you. Our Game Coaches are there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun. We tutor, inspire and entertain. Please consider us as you would other forms of entertainment and service where tipping 10 – 15% for good service is a great idea, but not required. We appreciate you! What time will you be arriving?
The Game Coaches will 20 – 30 minutes ahead of your party time to set up the field and allow your party to start at the designated start time.
