About HyperSpace Starcade
HyperSpace Starcade is Minnesota’s destination claw machine arcade, built around one simple idea: create unforgettable, high-quality gaming moments for kids, teens, and adults alike. What began in 2019 as a mobile gaming experience quickly grew from a video game truck serving birthdays, schools, and community events across Southeast Minnesota into something bigger.
In 2024, that vision leveled up into a permanent home.
We’re built for players who love skill-based games, real prizes, and an experience that goes beyond a typical arcade.
Inside our arcade, you’ll find 78 prize-based skill games across 60 modern claw and merchandiser machines. Every game is designed around winning — no ticket redemption, no filler games. Guests play claw machines, candy pushers, marble pushers, and other merchandiser games, then trade smaller wins up toward bigger, higher-value prizes at our prize counter. It’s a system that rewards skill, patience, and strategy — and it’s why many guests visit us regularly, even from outside Rochester.
What truly sets HyperSpace Starcade apart is our hybrid model.
In addition to drop-in arcade play, we also offer private Game Truck, Laser Tag, and VR experiences that can be hosted right at the arcade. These experiences are available by advance booking only (minimum 48 hours) and are designed for birthdays, group events, and private celebrations looking for something unique. This combination of a destination claw arcade and on-site mobile entertainment is something you won’t find at other claw arcades.
At our core, we’re a family-owned business built on passion, fairness, and fun.
